Lease Information
While lessons are a required part of building a complete equestrian, a rider must learn to interact with the horse on their own. Therefore, KDI offers to its students "Lease Day." Leases are available on Saturdays and Sundays at a pre-arranged time. This time allows the student to tack the horse and ride it to the best of their ability "alone." Instructor permission is required to begin leasing one of our horses. Horses available for lease change frequently, ask your instructor if your favorite mount is available!
Details
Cost of leasing a horse is $20/hour. Leases will be scheduled in time slots, to allow a maximum of 3 riders in the arena at one time. To ensure that our school horses continue to enjoy their jobs, there is a limit of three leasees/horse/day. Lease days will not occur on Saturdays with horse shows.
